Keen Imagery is a husband-and-wife team of visual storytellers, specializing in wedding photography and videography. Our passion lies in capturing the essence of love that lasts a lifetime, going beyond simple snapshots to create visuals that tell unique stories of energetic, in love, and full-of-life couples. We are based in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and proudly serve couples across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. Our dedication to our craft stems from a shared love for exploring the world through photography and videography, a passion that ignited early on in our relationship.

Our Beginnings

Our story began in elementary school, where, despite a two-year age difference, our paths crossed. We knew each other through our shared community, but it wasn't until a few years later, when Derek had just filmed his first wedding and I was starting my photography journey, that we truly connected. A dinner date followed by an evening at our local lookout point sealed the deal, and we've been inseparable ever since. Our shared interest in capturing life's fleeting moments through photos and videos became our common ground, and our love story blossomed.

Two years into our relationship, Derek proposed at that very lookout point where our journey began. In late 2013, shortly after our engagement, we merged our services and established "Keen Imagery". Our commitment to each other and our shared passion led to the perfect affirmation of our love on June 14, 2014, as we tied the knot. Today, we are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Brookelyn and Brielle, making our life even richer.

Our Approach: More Than Just Photos and Videos

Driven by our combined eight years of experience in wedding photography and videography, we strive to go beyond simply documenting moments. We see ourselves as artists, crafting visual narratives that capture the raw emotions and unique love stories of each couple we work with.

Chantel, the lead photographer, brings a keen eye for detail and a talent for composing stunning images. Derek, the lead videographer, is a master story weaver, seamlessly blending captivating footage with music to create emotionally resonant films.

We believe in a collaborative approach, always working closely with our couples to understand their vision and ensure their story is told authentically and beautifully. We are passionate about creating lasting memories that our couples can cherish for years to come.

Our Tools of the Trade

Derek utilizes his trusty Panasonic GH5 to capture stunning videos, while Chantel embraces the creative power of her Canon 5D Mark iv for breathtaking photographs.
