We are Port City Films, a full-service video production company and post-production house based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Our team is dedicated to developing original content for a wide range of clients and projects around the globe, while also providing support and services for local independent film, corporate, and commercial productions across the Carolinas.

Writing & Development (Pre-Pro)

It all starts with a great story. Our reputation has been built on generating award-winning original content, and that begins with creative development. Whether you are starting with a blank slate, have some ideas that need some massaging, or have a solid concept that requires a little something more, our pre-production team can take your current product to production. From conceptualization to scripting, our experienced writers and development experts will work closely with you to craft a compelling narrative that captures your audience's attention.

Video Production

Our producers are expert storytellers who find creative ways to bring every story to life. Our production crews use the latest equipment, techniques, and software to bring those stories to life. We don't have a specific style, and we don't specialize in any one type of production. The creative team at PCF has produced or supported the production of independent films, television, commercials, and corporate videos around the world.

Post-Production

Our post-production team is dedicated to bringing your project to life. We provide a variety of post services in-house, including editing, VFX, color correction, grading, foley recording, sound design, and motion graphics. The PCF team has experience producing independent film, television, and hundreds of commercial and corporate projects.

Studio Space

Our Wilmington, North Carolina studio includes an insulated and climate-controlled 2,500 sqft production studio space with 14-16ft ceilings, a 20x40ft lighting grid (12.5ft tall), a DIT/audio engineer room, a sound-treated recording booth, a hair and makeup/green room, editing suite, producer's office, general meeting spaces, and a full kitchen. This studio space is perfect for commercial, corporate, and independent film productions of all sizes.
