Founded in 2007 by two award-winning filmmakers and brothers, Josh and Nick Holden, our mission is to tell memorable stories that leave a lasting impact. Whether it's a documentary, commercial, web series, or narrative film, we're dedicated to bringing your vision to life.

Our journey began with a shared love for storytelling, music, and the arts. Growing up in Louisiana, we were always encouraged to explore our creativity, often finding ourselves lost in the tales of Romeo and Juliet, where the term "Majnun" symbolized a deep love that transcended reason. This spirit of creativity and passion for storytelling is at the heart of everything we do at Mishnoon.

Throughout our careers, we've had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, from commercials and music videos to feature films and web series. Our expertise spans writing, producing, directing, and editing, allowing us to seamlessly guide your project from concept to completion. We've had the honor of collaborating with notable artists, such as Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson, and our work has been showcased at prestigious festivals like SXSW and the Austin Film Festival.

Who We Are

Nick and Josh Holden, the founders of Mishnoon, share a rich background in filmmaking, music, and the arts. Nick holds a degree in philosophy and literature from St. Edwards, while Josh graduated with a film degree from the University of Texas. Both have a deep understanding of storytelling, having studied acting for over 9 years. Their musical background includes playing in several bands, including Black Joe Lewis and the Holden Brothers. This diverse experience has equipped them with the skills and creativity to tackle a wide range of projects.
