Our Story

Founded in Austin in 1984, Horizon Film + Video Productions is owned and operated by Chris Westerman. A UT Austin Film School product, Chris created video for Horizon for over a decade before carrying forward the legacy of the company. Since that time Chris has produced and edited hundreds of video projects spanning virtually all production genres including documentary, promotional, narrative, broadcast, educational, and even fitness video. We understand that every project is important. Capturing the ideas that are of importance to our clients requires attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for storytelling.
